 Scootpad - A paid online website where a student can work at their own pace to master different concepts in math, reading, writing and spelling.  It is aligned with the common core standards.   Scootpad

Collaboration

 Down the Drain -How much water do you use? It is a collaboration with other students around the world on the internet.  Students will figure out their average use of water in a day and compare it to others around the world.   Down the Drain
 Bucket Buddies - Fresh water Macro Invertebrates.  Students will collect samples from local ponds and find out if it is the same all over the world.  Bucket Buddies
 Journey North- A global study of Wildlife Migration.  Students will observe, make records, and take pictures of any animal migrations and share with online community.  They will map the migration and share with online community from all over the world.  Journey North
 Square of Life Project- Studies in Local and Global  Environments. Students will investigate a square meter of their school yard for living and non-living things.  They will share their findings with other classes from around the world.  They will analyze their findings with other finds and then make a report to share with the other classes.  Square of Life Project
 Weather Watch - Interactive weather project.  Students will be collecting data locally and sharing their data about weather to the other classrooms involved in the project.  They will be looking at weather across climate zones.  They will be predicting, tracking, and research global weather.    Weather Watch
