Grades 1-4

Hello! My name is Mrs. Tricia Tucker, and I was born and raised in Barbados. I originally came to the United States to pursue my Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science. While studying at the university, I embraced the Seventh-day Adventist faith through the personal evangelism of two close friends. Three years later, I married my husband, and together we are the proud parents of two daughters.


Over the past 14 years, I have served in various roles across the field of education, including eight years within the Adventist school system.


My philosophy of education is it is more than just academic knowledge and achievement.  It is the wholistic development of a child.  This includes the mental, physical, social and spiritual.


My favorite Bible passage is Proverbs 3:5–6: “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.”


In my free time, I enjoy exercising, trying new recipes, and traveling. 


I am truly looking forward to inspiring our students and supporting them in developing a closer walk with God!
